My new book, No Hope for Heaven; No Fear of Hell: The Stafford/Townsend Feud, is due to be released in August 2016 by the University of North Texas Press. A book signing is scheduled for Saturday, September 24, 2016 at the old Brunson Saloon, now home to the Live Oak Art Center in Columbus, 1014 Milam, Columbus, TX.
The talk is about the feud but also (and more importantly) it will provide an opportunity to roll out to the public the Nesbitt Memorial Library Foundation’s roadmap for the property purchased five years ago and the exciting partnership we have entered with Lake/Flato architectural firm of San Antonio.
Social with cash wine bar and snacks 3-4 (music by John Kearney and Jesse Armstrong)
presentation 4-5
book signing and renewed mixer 5-whenever
All book sales will go to benefit the NMLF, which is a 501(c)3, so tax deductible. Info sheets to that end provided. Cash, check, or credit card.
The public is invited! Hope to see you there!
